Crafting/Gathering Empty Crafting/Gathering

Do we want Crafting (Blacksmithing, Alchemy, Enchanting, etc.) and/or Gathering (Herbalism, Mining, Skinning, etc.) as Skills, or as born in passives.

i say yes to gathering being a born as passive, stats are used to aqurie the crafting skills
(i.e. strength-blacksmithing)

I like gathering skills as passives and Crafting skills as 1 of your ten skills. though i feel like there would have to be a way to limit the gethering skills then

i think if we limit gathering skills it should be limited to about 3 or 4 to keep trade in the game

Well if we do the system for gathering as we do the rest of the skills, players will have to go Far out of their way to level up, rank up and specialize in the crafting skills and learn from masters

I think for the gathering/crafting skills, there really wouldn't be any evolving/upping the skills. It'd just increase the quality of the crafted item for crafting, and for the gathering skills, if they are just passives, then you don't have to worry about leveling the gathering skills.

Gathering skills are set as life born passive skills, having the associated crafting skill enhances the gathering skill.
